For Spring-Summer 2028, we continue to push Life-Shield forward—expanding the platform beyond traditional waterproof performance and into a broader spectrum of modern footwear needs. Built around the same waterproof retannage technology, the collection introduces LWA: a new category designed for everyday wear, combining easy-care water resistance with greater freedom in texture, finish, and design expression. Alongside our proven WP products, SS28 explores how protection, comfort, and aesthetics can coexist—giving brands the flexibility to build footwear for both technical performance and real-world daily wear.

 

Primeasia offers two Life-Shield product categories: 

 

WP: designed for maximum waterproof performance.

 

LWA: developed for footwear requiring easy care and water resistance.

WP is built for extreme conditions, ideal for work, outdoor, or military-inspired footwear where feet may be exposed to moisture for extended periods of time.  Waterproof leathers are more classic in look but engineered to perform when it matters most.

LWA opens the door to more creative freedom. These leathers are designed for the protections needed in everyday wear, offering greater flexibility in design and allowing for richer finishes, embossing, and fashion-driven aesthetics.  Its moisture-resistant performance is focused on the purpose, giving brands more room to create without compromising easy-care protection.
