PrimeAsia recognizes that responsibly managed farming has an important role in the development of a more sustainable world, building climate resilience, supporting conservation and biodiversity. The Responsibly Raised platform supports the development of responsible practices, in which leading standards at the farm level ensure the better use and management of land and natural resources, contributing to lower emissions.
PrimeAsia's ambition is to make 100% of its supply chain part of its Responsibly Raised initiative by 2030. The Responsibly Raised platform requires suppliers to provide robust traceability systems, which trace raw materials all the way back to the birth farm and enhance transparency through independent certifications and/or georeferencing in specific regions where deforestation is a concern.
PrimeAsia expects that all suppliers demonstrate strict and verified animal welfare standards that align with the Five Animal Freedoms.
