Primeasia Completes Rooftop Solar Project in Vietnam

As part of our ongoing work towards our target of 100% renewable energy at our facilities by 2040, Primeasia is excited to share that we have completed the rooftop solar installation project at our facility in Vietnam. For this endeavor, Primeasia partnered with Indefol GmbH, a leader in renewable energy solutions in Vietnam. 

This work was completed in 2 phases:

• Phase 1: 0.71 MWp (COD July 2025)
• Phase 2: 5.06 MWp (COD January 2026)

With the completion of this project, we have installed 5.766 MWp of rooftop solar, which will generate more than 5,407,875 kWh of energy per year. In other terms, rooftop solar will almost fully cover PAV’s daytime electricity needs. 

This project is already gaining industry recognition. Primeasia recently received the Innovation Award at the adidas Sourcing Sustainability Supplier summit in Vietnam, highlighting the installation as a leading example in renewable energy adoption. 

Primeasia’s work towards renewable energy extends beyond this milestone, we will continue to find ways to switch fully to renewable energy at both our Vietnam and China facilities. Already we invest in power purchase agreements in China and renewable energy certificates in Vietnam. This work closely aligns with the verified SBTi emissions-reductions targets at the end of 2025. Achieving these targets, requires ongoing innovations and investment to shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy. 

These projects are examples of the work completed as part of our broader Consciously Crafted sustainability strategy. Under this strategy, we have targets for operational excellence, circularity, climate action, and social impact.
