PrimeAsia Announces Upcoming Expansion Project in Vietnam

PrimeAsia Leather, a renowned manufacturer of high-quality leather, announces its upcoming expansion project in Vietnam. The expansion, set to be completed in 2024, will increase the tannery's monthly production capacity to 8 million square feet per month.

As part of the expansion project, PrimeAsia Vietnam will be adding new retanning / coloring capacity, which will be supported by the addition of a third retanning / coloring mezzanine that will include eight new fully automated production drums. The current sample retanning / coloring area and its highly qualified team will be relocated to a newly constructed and purpose-built dedicated building. Several other major equipment upgrades include the addition of a fourth pigment finishing line to support the growing demand for athletic leathers, new drying and conditioning equipment with advanced technology, added equipment in the areas of splitting, shaving and buffing, and a further significant expansion and upgrade to the WWTP and associated solid waste handling technologies.

The addition of a new building dedicated to sample retanning and coloring will enable PrimeAsia Vietnam to continue supporting its customers' ever-growing development needs. 

Sustainability investments remain a top priority for PrimeAsia, and a second recently installed State-of-the-art Cartigliano sludge dryer, as well as upgrades to the wastewater treatment plant, will enable PrimeAsia Vietnam to support this added capacity.
